Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I may also throw in the odd post of whatever the hell I like. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! PLEASE NOTE: I rate my films different from the standard 5 star approach. As I work in the cinema industry I am aware that the most expensive general admission ticket is $16.50. My rating of a film is based on what I think the ticket is worth in a dollar amount up to $16.50 (a perfect film). If I think a film is worth about $5- it's probably not worth watching in my opinion. The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed. Carl Jung (1875 - 1961)

Contains small spoiler of the movie.
Ok - this is care of www.themovieblog.com and I am just copying it over because I am being lazy and have watched nothing fantastic this week just yet. I am watching Prince Caspian tonight at 10.30 so stay tuned for that one tomorrow and also tomorrow morning I am watching Earth which I am totally excited about.
This week is all about prep and hyping for the release of Sex and The City. Bring it on!! Am looking forward to it and love seeing the public hype up about a movie and this film is going to be one of the ones that will be awesome to watch in a full cinema.

Hope everyone is well.

OK - so it's not THE plot but it does all make it into the story!! I turned to my friend and said "are u serious?" but it is one of the funny bits and it was their homage to the Tarzan films of the time. Also they are the same monkeys from Raiders so maybe that monkey spoke to all his relatives and told them to keep an eye out for an old guy with a whip and help if need be. LOL. OK - it's a stretch.
