Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. An epic true story set against the backdrop of one of the wildest places on Earth, African Cats captures the real-life love, humor and determination of the majestic kings of the savanna. The story features Mara, an endearing lion cub who strives to grow up with her mother's strength, spirit and wisdom; Sita, a fearless cheetah and single mother of five mischievous newborns; and Fang, a proud leader of the pride who must defend his family from a once banished lion. Disneynature brings "The Lion King" to life on the big screen in this True Life Adventure directed by Keith Scholey and Alastair Fothergill. An awe-inspiring adventure blending family bonds with the power and cunning of the wild.

I think I posted the first trailer for this one about six months ago and was wondering what was happening. I actually thought it would go straight to pay TV on a nature channel or similar but am glad it is still getting a cinematic release. I think this would look spectacular on a giant screen. It is coming out in April for Earth Day/ Week. On or around April 22.

It certainly would look better on the big screen. The Savanna is an amazing land. K
