Damn you Kames Franco for ruining the planet
This trailer makes the film look much better but it will be nothing on the original film and I am thinking they are hoping to make this into a trilogy with this being the first to make way for more bridging films. Of course this will totally be box office dependent. Besides Franco the other credible thing it has going for it is writer and director Rupert Wyatt best known for the popular and enjoyable The Escapist. I have have hopes and the CGI apes are quite remarkable. The one thing I have noticed though which goes against it is quite a few patron groans when the trailer plays in cinemas. We won't have to wait long with an August 15th release. Make it good Franco!!
