Original thanks have to go to CINEMA HERALD for originally posting this. I was pissed I did not find it first and wasn't going to post it at all after I did. But we both have different readers and I know my Facebook crew will love this one so I am posting it myself.
Most people know I not only think Zac Efron is great onscreen, but it's possible I love him. LOL - yes you can add me to the list beating my way through teenage girls on the Zac train. He's mine bitches so get out of my way. Hahahahaha
Based on an acclaimed novel, Charlie St. Cloud is a romantic drama starring Zac Efron as a young man who survives an accident that lets him see the world in a unique way. In this emotionally charged story, he begins a romantic journey in which he embraces the dark realities of the past while discovering the transformative power of love. This is also being directed by Burr Steers, whom I love from his work on Igby Goes Down.
Accomplished sailor Charlie St. Cloud (Efron) has the adoration of mother Claire (Kim Basinger) and little brother Sam (newcomer Charlie Tahan), as well as a college scholarship that will lead him far from his sleepy Pacific Northwest hometown. But his bright future is cut short when a tragedy strikes and takes his dreams with it.
After his high-school classmate Tess (Amanda Crew) returns home unexpectedly, Charlie grows torn between honoring a promise he made four years earlier and moving forward with newfound love. And as he finds the courage to let go of the past for good, Charlie discovers the soul most worth saving is his own.
Zac dropped out of Footloose after it was suggested he needed to drop his teeny bopper HSM roles and concentrate on a serious career or risk being pigeon holed. It has also been suggested Leo "My Big D" DiCaprio is offering Zac help on role choices to help him emulate the ideal career.
I think he is on the role to a superb career and if people look past all the HSM cheesiness this boyman can seriously act. He has a long way to go to get to Leo GOD status but he in the way

Credit due where it's owed - u brought this film to my attention and am very keen to see it. I also missed out on the other arty one he did "Me and Orson Welles" - I think that was the title or something similar. I am keen to see his star rise beyond the teenage girls.
Thanks again

This will either be not-so-bad and exceed my expectations of making me vomit from being overly mawkish OR, OR it will be just be plain awful.
Have you seen Seventeen Again Jason? I have 'n I'll never babysit again to avoid getting myself into such a compromising situation.
