Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to them developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities, and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.
What a sensational surprise this trailer was - make sure you watch the whole thing as the first looks like a stupid B grade college film and then it morphs into brilliance. I just hope the film holds up to its trailer.
There isn't a big budget here, and that's a good thing by the looks of it. The film is directed by Josh Trank (Big Fan) and follows three normal teenage boys who develop extra special abilities after being exposed to a mysterious substance in the woods. The cast includes Dane DeHaan (The Wettest County in the World), Michael B. Jordan (The Wire) and Alex Russell.
Out next February sometime and it better get a cinema release in Australia!!
