Based on the novel by Kaui Hart Hemmings (The Descendants, House of Thieves), the film stars George Clooney as an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-establish his relationship with his daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident off Waikiki.
I love the director of this film. Alexander Payne has brought us Sideways and About Schmidt so far and this can be George Clooney's insane film
It looks typical Payne and very quirky. Something that will of course suit the career of Clooney who basically never fails. The Descendants is releasing December 16th this year.
