I cried with laughter in the trailer!

Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr.) is an expectant first-time father whose wife's due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan - on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter's last nerve.
OK - this looks like comedy of the year. Made by the people who brought us The Hangover, Todd Phillips, and starring Downey Jnr and Zach Galifianakis this one is a massive winner!!! Can't wait and out in November.

Downey's probably worked more in the last five years than he has in his entire career up to that point.

I don't know if you've ever heard of FirstShowing.net (and you probably have) - they have an early scoop on all the trailers for upcoming movies and a lot of obscure ones as well. That was my source when I was spotlighting trailers. Just a heads up.
Cheers...

Deni - had not heard of first showing - there is a bunch I use, mainly Addict to get my stuff and I have them all on RSS feeds on my homepage - they do the work for me hahaha. Thanks for the heads up.

Have you seen Downey in Two Girls and a Guy?
He's great in Restoration too.
And of course Chaplin and Less Than Zero.

It;s a tie for me between American Psycho and Rules of Attraction as my faves and I am pretty sure I have not read the last one - Lunar Park.
I was so obsessed with Am Psycho that one of my email addresses is still patrickbatemanau@.......

Saw this trailer before "Inception" and didn't laugh, instead just felt sorry for Downey Jr.
He must really be going after the paycheck.
I am a massive fan of the man. His performance in Wonderboys is great post rehab moment for sure and truly hilarious. But i agree on drugs he was exceptionally creative in his performances and may have peaked early.
Then again what do I know, i thought The Hangover was average at best with only an "In the air tonight" chuckle. In fact all it did was made me throw in "Very Bad Things" straight after to get the laugh I was craving.

I feel really bad but have never seen Wonderboys
But I did find this one funny - it will be good for me to see Downey Jnr in something more normal and less superheroish (this includes Sherlock).
