Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. First Alice in Wonderland Trailer - Updated Again - High Def Trailer

: TIM BURTON RULES
Category: No Category
Tim Burton would have to be this world's cinematic visual genius. With the films of Edward Scissorhands, the first couple of Batman's, Willy Wonka and The Night Before Christmas it was no wonder that he would end up doing Alice in Wonderland.

Films I would absoultely love to see him make would be the final installment of Harry Potter and a huge remake of the Wizard of Oz.

But this looks truly Burton and truly sensational - can't wait. And great news - it will be available in DIG 3D - YAY That!!!!

Johnny Depp Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter

Massive apologies to the people who missed the high res copy but I managed to get this one for you all. When a High Res resurfaces I will place it up again - but we shall fight on to our right to view art

Nice work Disney!

They're holier than thou autocratic antics continue to alienate whatever fans they haven't already p*ssed off!

Like Carolyn says - perhaps we should simply make them sit up and take notice every now and then.

They can't live off Hannah Montana forever . . .

I agree Carolyn - I turned up 15min late to work this morning so I could get it posted. I can't boycott the film - it's not Tim Burton's fault and looks awesome. I do apologise the quality is not as good as the last one you missed!!

CR - it's up - hope you like.

MNG - hope you like it!!

Simply magnificent. We both cannot wait for it to come to the screen. To see it in 3D is going to be fantastic. Johnny Depp is one of the most brilliant actors that can take on a movie role and deliver the best. He is beautiful - a perfect Mad Hatter. I've never read the book. But I have in my possesion an original book of Alice In Wonderland. Old and frail. Now I have my chance to read what I missed out on as a kid. Cheers K

And PS: Dibs on borrowing that antique copy of Alice to read when I am there next. I have never read it either. Would be a good comparison as to how Burton interprets the original story.

Hi Jason,

Cannot wait for Alice in Wonderland, I love Burton, and that story is perfect for one of his remakes.

Have often said myself that he should remake Wizard of Oz! Would be brilliant!

My pleasure - anything for Jesus

You should see the artwork on the giant banners at cinemas recently. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum look awesome.
