Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. Trailer of the Day: Get Low - Bill Murray, Robert Duvall, Lucas Black

: Looks GREAT!!!!
Category: No Category
At last a film I can be looking forward to on a big scale. It has three of my fave actors in it and looks great!! Bill Murray and Robert Duvall are just veterans and it is very hard not love them onscreen and I have loved watching Lucas Black ever since he was in the X Files and Millennium. Plus he has to redeem himself after that piece of crap film, Legion. Plus we also get Sissy Spacek back - haven't seen her for a while.

Get Low, James Duvall, Bill Murray, Lucas Black

Based on a true story of a hermit who lived for forty years in the Tennessee woods. Felix Bush (Duvall) decides it is time to plan his funeral. But his funeral will not be any old macabre occasion. Organized by a local undertaker played by Bill Murray and his sidekick played by Lucas Black, the funeral will be more party than memorial and an event to which anyone and everyone will be invited and at which Bush will reveal a long kept secret.

I'm excited for this one because of the cast, and I like that the trailer doesn't make it obvious what the exact tone of the film will be.

Completely agree Julian - I think it will be quite dark and more of a murder tale that will be quite sad.

I think the trailer and having Bill Murray in the film lends to a more humorous tone for the trailer.

Thanks for the comments.

Mum - let me know if it improves - administrators say it has been repaired.
