Hopefully the Oscars still work a little differently and can find room for a non-drama and non-musical/comedy.
Interesting to see Cruise nom for Best supporting actor in a comedy.
Thanks for posting.

I hate the way comedy and musical are lumped together.
Thomas Newman should be nominated for WALL-E's score.
Let the Right One In should be nominated for best foreign language film.

so have there been any $16.50 movies for you this year?
I'll be doing my horrorphile best of the year selection in a couple of weeks.

Bryn - I could not agree more - WallE was ^%$#ing sensational. Ithink Heath over Tom - h was brilliant and it's the right thingo to do.And - no, I just wet through my list - no $16.50 movies. 3X $16- films. Dark Knght, Australia (the most argued film ever released and please don't start it up again) ad WallE - but I never wrote m review for WallE - there were so many up already. Ooh - I might have to do my best of the year to - sounds like great idea - and I know our lists will be SOOOOOOO different. LOL
