How do I embed a vid on my blog??

Can anyone help with this - I always see vids and trailers on peoples sites but when I copy the embed code of YouTube (for example) all I end up with is code on my blog. Annoying!!

I'm really the last person who should attempt to help you with this, but from memory, you put html3456 in square brackets at the start of the code and /html in square brackets at the end.

Hope it works!
