Based on the classic novel by legendary pulp writer Jim Thompson, THE KILLER INSIDE ME tells the story of handsome, unassuming small town sheriff's deputy Lou Ford (Casey Affleck). A quiet charmer of his idyllic West Texas town, Ford has a simple life and a pretty girl (Kate Hudson) to come home to. But when the job brings him face to face with a gorgeous prostitute (Jessica Alba) on the edge of town, Ford's fragile world cracks, unbridling his own dark urges.
The film is being directed by Michael Winterbottom who has a name I have heard a few times before but whose films do not look familiar. I can recognise 24 Hr Party People and the film Wondelrand but the rest my dead brain cells cannot remember or I have never heard of
Casey Affleck is amazing on film and definitely got the good-acting genes in the family. Plus, that voice is such a turn on Alba is incredibly beautiful but so-so as an actress. I would have thought her way too innocent to be a prostitute - will be interesting to see. And I love Kate Hudson, this will be good to see her not in a romantic comedy
This one is releasing on 8th June this year in the UK, on the 18th June in the US and unfortunately there is yet to be a release date set in Australia.
I CANNOT WAIT - AFFLECK IS SO INTENSE.

Looks lie we are doubling up today, I have this same trailer post dated for 9am this morning.
