Make or Break Shyamalan

OK - I am very curious about this film. Firstly, it's M. Night Shyamalan and his last few films have been so appalling I am surprised there has not been a good old Hollywood lynching, I believe I was going to murder him myself for The Happening. But I do like the story of this one and as he hasn't written it it may prove succesful, plus the fact the source material is extensive.
The only downside I can see is it could go the way of Dragonball and be a complete disaster. The trailers do look ok, and I am going to be optimistic until I watch it. I do think though that if this one fails we will see Shyamalan disappear into obscurity so he must have a lot riding on it. Also very interesting that the actual title: "Avatar: The Last Airbender" seems to have lost the "Avatar" bit. I wonder why?? Hahahaa
I am pretty stoked to see Dev Patel in another film. Loved him in Skins and he totally rocked in Slumdog Millionaire.
