Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. Thanks to Paramount for sending this one through. I have high hopes for this film and it does look great. They have, however, posted numerous trailers for the film over the last month. I am assuming this is because new graphics have been completed but it can sometimes also mean the film is a disaster and I am scared crapless about this film.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Movie

Firstly, M Night Shyamalan has not directed a good film since he could see dead people and did anyone remember the Dragonball Z movie - exactly!!!

Secondly, it is now, all of a sudden going to be released in 3D. Please please please, I hope this was filmed in 3D and they are only now releasing the info, as the changing of Clash of the Titans in 3D was an appalling disaster!!

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film The Last Airbender is the opening chapter in Aang's struggle to survive.

But this does look good and Shyamalan has some great source material so finger crossed because we need a new good fantasy film!! Suss out the OFFICIAL WEBSITE for more info.

The film releases on July 2 in the US and July 8 in Australia. Succeed or perish Shyamalan.

extremely nervous for this one...i just dont think it is going to be good...from the trailer the dialogue sounds average only after a few sentences!!!!

I disagree with you Jase about his last good film. I thought Signs was as good as the sixth sense.

Agreed Sammy

The dialougue does sound a little tacky - but I have hope.

I agree Signs was good but it was nowhere near as good as 6th Sense.

Miss u and keep studying bitch or I will mess with you!
