I was sent these pics of Jake Gyllenhaal on set for Prince of Persia and had to post them.
I never thought our young cowboy Donnie Darko could buff up so much. He keeps joking he has gotten implants but I am pretty sure this is all Jake.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an upcoming film based on the 2003 video game of the same name. The film is directed by Mike Newell, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley, and Alfred Molina. Filming is taking place in the United Kingdom and Morocco. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is scheduled to be released on May 28, 2010
Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a 6th century prince of Persia who teams up with Princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) to rescue the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that controls time, from the hands of the villainous nobleman, Nizam (Ben Kingsley).

Gotta say it, but I love JB films for their pure ability to make me feel like I am on a 2 hour theme park thrill ride. Money well spent.
add to that, the time period and premise of the desert and the past and you have my undivided attention.
This is a big screen one for me, for sure... which is good because I rarely spend the money these days on the big screen as so few seem so wrothy of my hard earned dollars.
Thank you for the heads up.

Although it's not until next year I will try and have a ticket giveaway for it getting closer - so you may also get to save your hard earned cash
I completely agree re the JB thing - the pirates films were so much fun and this will bring back a bit of the tomb raider/ Indy Jones stuff in a much better looking man!
That plus the settings and it will be s sure fire HIT!
Thanks for your comment
