Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. Trailer of the Day: RED - looks like a CLASSIC

: LOOKS AWESOME
Category: No Category
This looks like an ensemble film from heaven. Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Mary Louise Parker, Richard Dreyfuss, Morgan Freeman & Karl Urban in a comedy action of epic proportions. I cannot wait. It is releasing on or about 15th October 2010. I had never even heard of it until I found the trailer.

Bruce Willis, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Red

Red is the story of Frank Moses (Willis), a former black-ops CIA agent, who is now living a quiet life. That is, until the day a hi-tech assassin shows up intent on killing him. With his identity compromised and the life of the woman he cares for, Sarah (Parker), endangered, Frank reassembles his old team (Freeman, Malkovich and Mirren) in a last ditch effort to survive. Red is based on the DC Comics graphic novel of the same name by Warren Ellis.

Ooh! This sounds exciting. Great cast, I truly adore John Malkovich.

Same Michaelie - and we get Mirren for some serious class
But Malkovich being insane - a total win for everyone

Hi Jason,

I liked the comic and this seems to have the same frenzied comedy. Cool cast, but the trailer does seem a little generic, hope the end result is R rated carnage.
