Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed. Carl Jung (1875 - 1961)

Trailer of the Day: James Cameron's SANCTUM

: Australia's answer to The Descent?
Category: Trailers
&featureThe 3-D action-thriller, from executive producer James Cameron, follows a team of underwater cave divers on a treacherous expedition to the largest, most beautiful and least accessible cave system on Earth. When a tropical storm forces them deep into the caverns, they must fight raging water, deadly terrain and creeping panic as they search for an unknown escape route to the sea.

Ioan Gruffudd, Sanctum, James Cameron, Richard Roxburgh, Rhys Wakefield

Master diver Frank McGuire (Richard Roxburgh - MOULIN ROUGE, MATCHING JACK) has explored the South Pacific's Esa-ala Caves for months. But when his exit is cut off in a flash flood, Frank's team - including 17-year-old son Josh (Rhys Wakefield - HOME AND AWAY) and financier Carl Hurley (Ioan Gruffudd - FANTASTIC 4, TITANIC) - are forced to radically alter plans. With dwindling supplies, the crew must navigate an underwater labyrinth to make it out. Soon, they are confronted with the unavoidable question: Can they survive, or will they be trapped forever?

Sanctum, James Cameron, Richard Roxburgh, Rhys Wakefield

SANCTUM employs 3-D photography techniques Cameron developed to lens Avatar. Designed to operate in extreme environments, the technology used to shoot the action-thriller will bring audiences on a breathless journey across plunging cliffs and into the furthest reaches of our subterranean world.

Sanctum, James Cameron, Richard Roxburgh, Rhys Wakefield

Universal Pictures will release SANCTUM in Australia and New Zealand on February 3, 2011 - day and date with the U.S.

Well that looks impressive. But there shall be no cave diving for this little duck. K
