Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed. Carl Jung (1875 - 1961)

Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Wes Craven

I do love a good Scream film. The first one was pretty much a horror masterpiece for its time. It holds special memories for me. Working as Senior Projectionist at the old Hoyts George St - now the Event Cinemas City Centre. It used to have one cinema (CIN 7) with 1100 old wooden back seats and was quite scary. I watched it in there at midnight with a manager and no one else and we didn't know what the film was about. I have never been so shit scared in a movie in my life. It was a rush We all know what happens in this film as we did in 2 and 3 but I do hope Wes Craven can at least pull out some originality and scary horror moments. Fingers crossed - releases on April 15th this year. Great, I can't wait for all those bloody masks to start turning up at all my friends parties.
