Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. He keeps getting older but he gets better onscreen - Douglas must have the best plastic surgeon ever. He is still one hot daddy And this one looks great - amazing cast!!

Douglas looks more like his father every day. And just like Kirk, his acting improves with age as well. Looking forward to this!

You're totally right Eileen - those eyes of his look like his father every time I look at him. He is also one of the best people who can wear a suit - he always looks so powerful.
Also love Susan Sarandon so this should be a great one to watch.
Thanks for the comment and have a great Good Friday

Unlike a lot of people on this site, I grew up with Michael Douglas. I have always thought he shines in every movie he does but he comes under a lot of criticism that I don't understand.

And yes, he does look like his father more and more .... and he probably has had some surgery....I would too.

I remember reading once about how many people begged Oliver Stone to have someone other than him star in Wall Street. Funny that - he won the Oscar.

I will really look forward to this one...and it stars another of my favs...Susan Sarandon.

It seems you have been really busy. Happy Easter, Jason.

Couldn't agree more Janet - I grew up with him and love him in anything - the guy reeks of nostalgic Hollywood and not the teenage version of it now.

He is one of the true movie stars that made it big in the 80's and has continued on - he is like a Madonna or Prince of filmdom.

So glad he got the part of Gordon Gecko - I never knew that people tried to get Stone to take someone else - Michael Douglas's quintessential role is as Mr Gecko. Can't wait for Wall St 2 - it looks amazing.

And yay you loving Susan Sarandon - has been one of my favourite actors for years. Mum met her a few months ago when she was in Sydney. She loves rubbing it in.

Have been flat out but having fun too - you have a spectacular Easter yourself
