Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. Trailer 2 of the Day: THE SOURCE CODE with Jake Gyllenhaal

: JAKE ROCKS
Category: Trailers
When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he's ever known, he learns he's part of a government experiment called the SOURCE CODE, a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.

Filled with mind-boggling twists and heart-pounding suspense, Source Code is a smart action-thriller directed by Duncan Jones (Moon) with Jake Gyllenhaal also starring Michelle Monaghan (Eagle Eye, Due Date), Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air, The Departed), and Jeffrey Wright (Quantum of Solace, Syriana).

This looks insane - MOON was brilliant and I have complete faith Jones will make a damn fine film. I love Jake and Monaghan is great. Surprisingly Jones has gone for a repeat film again, showing the same scene from different angles, something he did very well in MOON. This will be a nice blockbuster. It's scheduled for April 15th release 2011 in the US.

I can't keep up. The 'to see' list is growing bigger each day...This looks exhausting. To switch in and out every 8 minutes. A totally different parallel......K

DON'T FORGET MUM - most of these films don't come out until next year - this one is April for example. They are all pretty well paced and you will leave some for Blu Ray at my place when visiting
