Finally!!!! We have David Fincher improving on the faster made with way less budget original movie. He also appears to have channelled the film Se7en to make this one and OMG - it looks fucking brilliant!!
Based on Stieg Larsson's posthumously published crime thriller trilogy, "The Millennium Series." The book describes the mystery surrounding the long-unsolved disappearance of an heiress. A journalist recently dinged by a libel case and a young female hacker try to resolve it, stirring up bundles of personal and industrial corruption along the way.
I still don't know about Rooney Mara - she looks great but I just loved Noomi Rapace so so much. Daniel Craig an absolute winner!! And then they have pulled out all the casting gold that will work so much with this. Robin Wright perfect as Erika, Stellen Skarsgard just as perfect as Martin and then Christopher Plummer as Henrik is sublime - he was who I pictured when reading the book.
I am not too certain about the porn like poster either but I am sure many will disagree

You found one! Sex (rather SM) is in fact a major theme in the movie. Poster appropriate and tempting.
Didn't like the original (xept Noomi Rapace). Hope this one will be better.
