Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. Trailer of the Day: Tintin

: Spielberg and Jackson =s WOOT
Category: Trailers
I know it's been out for a few days now but I have just gotten back from holidays - massive BOOOOOOOOO. Finally the first look at Tintin is out and to be honest it is kind of flat and boring for me. I have hight hopes for the film itself but the trailer lacks any spark or excitement for me. Another movie addict friend of mine is so excited it's ridiculous and he just said to me "Spielberg animated Indiana Jones film with Tintin - enough said".

Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Tintin Trailer

I am excited for the movie, a lot due to the hype and makers but I never read the comics and the teaser trailer hasn't done much. Looking forward to the full length trailer and more so the film itself . All I will say is that Spielberg working with Peter Jackson is an insane combo and much better than Spielberg and the one horse runner, George Lucas. Also do not forget the other stars of the show Simon Pegg and his siamese twin, Nick Frost. And there's Andy Serkis and Cary Elwes (a man I can never forgive for being in Robin Hood: Men in Tights ).

Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Tintin Trailer

Starring Jamie Bell as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig as the nefarious Red Rackham. This one is the big Christmas film - coming out December 23.

Looks interesting. The trailer is too short to give it true judgement. Bit of fun - shades of Narnia... K

This one has really gone under the radar - promotionally at least.

Going to check out the trailer now.

What's the response been in the US so far?

It is meant to be spectacular Ma - should be great I hope but agreed - too short to make a judgement.

MNG - it is very early stages at the moment but is probably one of the most anticipated films of the year. Not much promotion as yet as not out until December - get ready for the promotions to start - there was even a countdown until the first image from the film was released. It will be HUGE!!!
