Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! Also, be sure to check out my other blogs www.sydneytable.com and http://www.orble.com/total-randomness/ PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. Tomorrow: When the War Began Sequel FINALLY COMMENCES

It is with great pleasure that I can say that Tomorrow: The Dead of the Night or the working title of TWTWB2 has commenced in some small way.....

The TOMORROW: WHEN THE WAR BEGAN producers can confirm that Kieran Darcy-Smith is currently working on a script for the second TOMORROW: WHEN THE WAR BEGAN film, currently under the working title 'TWTWB". Kieran's debut feature, WISH YOU WERE HERE was recently selected to open the Sundance Film Festival.

Tomorrow Movie, Dead of the Night

Darcy-Smith is actually a local boy and grew up in the same town as myself, Mona Vale, on the Northern Beaches of NSW and we also share the same birthday. It is like I am actually writing the script myself .

The bonus of the local boy doing the script is that chances are he has actually grown up reading the books and is as passionate about the story line as every Australian kid.

Tomorrow Movie, Dead of the Night

Darcy-Smith is a seasoned actor of the Australian circuit being in such films as The Square, The Reef and Animal Kingdom as well as such TV shows as McLeod's Daughters and All Saints and Home and Away. Stay tuned for Wish You Were Here to soon get an Australian release date after it's Sundance Selection and the fact it stars Joel Edgerton.

Can't wait for Tomorrow 2 and I hope they go with the same cast again, albeit somewhat older by the time cameras start rolling again.

I need to see the first one. I've slowed down with sooo many movies out. I'd have to have a sit in at the cinema 24/7 to catch up. Some good - some not so good movies. K

Mum, I will sort you out with a copy to watch over Xmas and Peter - HIRE it out when you can.
It's not a masterpiece in any sense of the word but it's enjoyable and a great story. If you haven't read the books try to hire or buy them and enjoy the read.

Thanks for the comments guys!
