Remember back to all the good times in your life that have ended, those superb friends, holidays or relationships. Let nostalgia flood through you and think of those times and how, while absolutely sublime you knew they would come to an end and there was nothing you could do about it but enjoy it while it lasted. Mine was my relationship with Mychal, my holidays to the US and camping every year for six weeks at the Basin. It is my friendships now with Sammy, Carrie and watching my friend's kids grow up. There is nothing I can do about it and these relationships will eventually change and not be the same. This is the entire emotion this film exudes and will draw out from you. It is done so beautifully and it will make you cry, and cry I did just like the 5yr old two rows back from me. Growing up sux, massively.
This film is an instant and timeless classic and it was well worth the 11yr wait, it was as though they never left, they come back with warmth that I nearly cried seeing them back onscreen again. The film goes for no tricks or gimmicky 3D effects, it uses it with maturity and more for depth of field as opposed to big flashy scenes to push the 3D to it's extreme. Everything about this film is subtle, it is a fine wine shelved to maturity over the last eleven years.
The humour is not cheesy or constant, there is no one liners to draw a laugh out of you - it is situation comedy that evolves naturally. I found this the least comedic film out of the three of them but probably the best film out of the lot. It is colourful and the kids will love it, it has enough humour to keep everyone entertained and it has a recipe for film perfection. It ticks every box: action, comedy, well developed characters, a beautifully crafted plot, a score that picks the heart strings and a big heart to make us all mushy. Pixar again hits the ball out of the park with a simple story that kids will follow with so much emotional depth that adults will watch a completely different film. Think of the film UP and then times it by 10
The movie begins with Andy leaving for college and accidentally discarding his beloved toys - being thrown out turns to donating the toys including Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen) - to a daycare. While the crew meets new friends, including Ken (Michael Keaton), they soon grow to hate their new surroundings and plan an escape. Directed by Lee Unkrich from a script co-authored by Litle Miss Sunshine scribe Michael Arndt.
The film teaches many things to everyone who watches it, look after the little guy, stick together, be faithful to one another and always stick together with love. A lesson we should all remember. Toy Story 3 is out today and do yourself and your family and friends a favour and go and watch it!.
A perfectly fitting end to a faultless trilogy. Just like those good times, we never want them to end but now we can remember them for the brilliance they have brought to cinema and, of course, remember them over and over on Blu Ray (or DVD).

Am going again next week with my neighbours kid as I just loved it. But Toy Story is my first perfect score for a film, so well done.
