The Lost Bladesman
This historical martial arts film adapted from the story of Guan Yu crossing five passes and slaying six generals in Luo Guanzhong's historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. In AD 200 during the late Eastern Han Dynasty, Cao Cao eliminates his political opponents Dong Cheng and others, before turning his attention towards rival warlords Liu Bei and Yuan Shao. To avoid fighting a war on two fronts, Cao Cao decides to attack Liu Bei first. Liu Bei flees north to join Yuan Shao, while his family is captured by the enemy. Liu Bei's sworn brother Guan Yu (Donnie Yen), surrenders to Cao Cao to uphold his oath of brotherhood and preserve his honor. Cao Cao knows he's a great warrior & hopes that Guan Yu will continue serving him. Meanwhile, Guan Yu is secretly in love with his sworn brother's concubine Qilan, but is afraid to express his feelings to her. Qilan reproaches Guan Yu for serving Cao Cao...
The film is shot brilliantly and has a Epic feel to it. It was very grand and well acted. It is no reflection on the film but I tried to watch this one late at night and I fell asleep about two thirds of the way through it. It is a complex film and required think and something my ailing brain at the time could not manage. I still have a copy and I will be watching it through fully on a day after I have had lots of sleep
Hybrid
In tradition of such "car from Hell" films as Christine, The Car, and Maximum Overdrive, Hybrid has been dubbed "a fun monster movie" (Blueprint Review.) From the producer of Punisher: War Zones and the director of One Missed Call comes the next generation in killer car movies with Hybrid, a high-speed thriller pitting man against the ultimate driving massacre machine!
Late one night, a mysterious car is brought into the Chicago police impound garage after a deadly traffic accident. The on-call mechanics soon discover the car has a mind of its own. With hundreds of horsepower and two tons of reinforced steel at its command, it's a seemingly unstoppable killing machine capable of outrunning - and outwitting - humans.
LOL - funny thing - this film reminds me of a love child of the film Christine and of Species 3
The funny thing is I could not think of the name of the Steven King movie about the car who was evil and killed. I asked my new flatmate and she started laughing - her name is Christine
To be honest - this film is not great at all. It is pure B grade sci-fi horror and it could have been amazing but it wasn't. The acting and screenplay are embarrassing but the idea behind it is pretty good. Would have made a great telemovie if Mulder and Scully were in it or those hotties from Supernatural
.

Freight
A Russian gang in the UK traffic Eastern Europeans then enslave them, the women to sex, the men to illegal fights. They cross a local businessman and a war escalates.
Compared to Taken but not as good is all I keep hearing - unfortunately I am yet to see this one but I do have a copy and it is on the list and the trailer looks pretty damn good!
Well there's the three films up for grabs.
