Welcome to Salty Popcorn - my site dedicated to expressing my opinion on films. Most of the reviews I read in the paper make me angry that they are either all so negative or I completely disagree with them. So now it's my turn. I hope you enjoy it and if you do sign up for updates on the left hand side. Thanks for stopping in!! PLEASE NOTE: My scoring of films is now based on an "Out of 10" score. Twilight New Moon Posters Revealed

It is like the premiere of a new movie in the US but actually is only the unveiling of the posters for the new Twilight film, New Moon.

I think it is the absence of a franchise for teenagers, like Harry Potter, that has caused this mass hysteria and love for Edward and Bella - and goddamnit, they got me too. Loved the books, the first movie was just OK and am hoping they will improve on this second one.

In The Twilight Saga: New Moon, BELLA SWAN (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, EDWARD CULLEN (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible JACOB BLACK (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested. --© Summit Entertainment

Jason,

How I love a good love story and this has it all. You have us all excited. My girls are going Ooooooooo and my oldest : *Cool*

none of us can wait for this C~sqeal to come out, Bella and Edward have us all.

I loved the books too and am I right in saying that I read somehwere that this second installment has a different director to the first, so the hopes are running quite high here too.

Thanks for the sneak peek, it looks promising, doesn't it?

Jason, I haven't seen Twilight, and doubt I will, despite my love of vampires and liking Kristen Stewart as an actor. The posters for New Moon do absolutely zilch for me. No doubt you're a fan of the werewolf lads version methinks? To be honest it looks like an ad for a gay tanning salon!

The fact that Chris - The Golden Compass - Weitz is directing has even less of an appeal ... However David - 30 Days of Night - is directing Eclipse so that piques my interest, even though I have no plans on reading the novel(s).

Yay Lilla - glad you are excited. I do hope they make something better than the first movie. I enjoyed it but it did not enrapture me like the first book did. It was like Harry Potter the first time - I closed blinds, drank red wine and turned off communication until I finished it. Hopefully this director has the same passion as a fan and brings that out onscreen. And yes - it does look promising - I should have a trailer in a few weeks for you and the girls.

Bryn - I would not think this film something you would like. It is more of a romance with vampires in it. The books are amazing but appeal more to the Harry Potter crew - stuff I love. And close but incorrect - my two fave characters are on the other poster - the "gay tanning salon" guys are the Indian wolfpack - I need my Edward haha

Jason,
yeah, I never read or was interested in reading Harry Potter either, so there you go. Have you read any of the Anita Blake vampire hunter novels?
So are the werewolves from the Wendigo Native Indian mythology?

Never read Anita Blake but will suss it out.
Have no idea where the idea for the warewolves come from but it reads well in the book.
